I tried for you the RenDEY’ Vous, or the fulfilling female sexuality

In a surge of liberation and celebration of feminine sexuality, the 'RenDEY'Vous' in Martinique provide a unique space where taboos are shattered, and voices are set free. These women-only evenings, dedicated to sexual fulfillment and self-discovery, represent a cultural revolution in a traditionally reserved Caribbean context. Explore how these events transform the perception of feminine sexuality and foster an open and unapologetic dialogue.

RenDEY Vous scaled

What are the RenDEY’Vous? I’ve been eyeing Dey Création’s RenDEY’Vous events on social media for a while now, hosted by Audrey, a dynamic little woman who creates jewelry and organizes events. The curious person in me has always wanted to participate, and by looking at photos and videos from previous events, I could see that the atmosphere was really friendly. It’s an evening among women dedicated to female sexuality with the goal of breaking the taboos of Caribbean education. A moment for oneself where women let go ! Are you ready?

I’m off!

So here I am, dressed up in my finest attire, arriving at a restaurant located in the heights of Balata. It’s cool (note to myself at the time, I should have brought a light jacket). There’s almost no parking space left, and the exclusively female audience is present. Audrey, our smiling hostess, welcomes us with a little gift of earrings, sweets, intimate gel, or aphrodisiacs. Mmm, the tone of the evening is set. She hands us a little paper on which we must write an intimate question anonymously, which will then be deposited in the question box. I think the idea is great. There’s also There’s also a private sale of beautiful cowrie shell jewelry and body oils , and erotic toys from the love store Idyll. I linger for a while and then enter the space reserved for us. The DJ plays Nigerian afrobeat music, the atmosphere is nice, and I can’t wait to discover what awaits me…okay.

Good health for fulfilling sexuality

The first to speak is a man, Mr. Joseph Onier. Rather surprising in an evening dedicated to female sexuality, you might say? And yet, no, you’ll understand why! He is a passionate science researcher who produces, among other things, natural products based on plants for libido, such as Bodyxtase, or for treating painful periods and endometriosis. I found it interesting to start with women’s well-being and health because having a fulfilling sexuality first requires that (https://www.boutiquejosephonier.com/19-nos-produits) .Rosita Vaillant, his colleague, takes over, and we’re off to more spicy discussions…

Let’s free speech thanks to the question box…

Sexuality in the Caribbean has always been a taboo subject. It’s something that is not talked about except among friends and, of course, behind closed doors. Sexuality and sex are at the heart of male virility, while the Antillean woman must be respected and respectable. In short, talking about sex in public for a woman is seen as attributing a reputation of loose morals to her. Rosita first asked us what libido represented for us. The exchanges continued as we looked at the little papers in the question box, the questions focused on orgasm, pleasure, masturbation, kamasutra, sexuality in general. But also on the difficulties of reconciling a woman’s life with a couple’s life. Women speak freely and without complex, which I particularly appreciated. There were even some good laughs! I really felt like I was at a party with friends! There were even games where we could win gifts.

Expressing Love in Creole

Audrey then asked us to close our eyes in the darkness. A warm and penetrating male voice whispered words into a microphone, recounting a sexual relationship between a man and a woman. We were literally under its spell. I later learned that it was Erauss, also known as David, a Guadeloupean writer and author of a collection prohibited for those under 18 years old, ‘Erausstaz,’ which evokes sexuality, sensuality, and emotions in Creole, please note. This is rare enough to be emphasized. Expressing love and making love in Creole remains a taboo for us, even now. Creole is still considered a roughly (brutal) language, unsuitable for the delicate language of love. What if we finally dared?

And what about sex toys in all of this? If I’m ending with sex toys, it’s because for me, it wasn’t the highlight of the evening. It was a bonus. A charming young woman presented us with one of the flagship products of the moment, the Rabbit, a mini-waterproof vibrator with 30 vibrating programs and rechargeable via USB, ideal for stimulating the G-spot. One of the guests confirmed that it was very effective. So, it’s worth a try! We could also get information from her at her booth, which was composed of erotic toys and accessories.

What I liked: The uninhibited Sex and The City atmosphere, a girls’ night out where speech is free and without taboo thanks to the question box!

The cocktails (I had a delicious cocktail of pineapple, orange, basil, and aged rum) and the delicious giraumon soup from the Ounje restaurant.

Our hostess Audrey’s animation, who knew how to liven up the evening. Learning things about female sexuality and our bodies What I liked less:

The freshness of the place.

The lack of brightness at times.

An evening to do and redo. Audrey emphasized exchanges, knowledge, and self-esteem for a fulfilled female sexuality by calling upon quality speakers! It’s about letting go and finding solutions in our sentimental and sexual daily life. For me, it’s approved, see you at the next edition of RenDEY’Vous.
