Ilet Chevalier Martinique: Discovering a Little Slice of Paradise

Shuttles regularly commute to take you to this enchanting place. During the few minutes on board, you catch a glimpse of the islet unfolding before you. The beach emerges, incredibly white and radiant, with large rocks overhanging it in some spots; as you get closer, you notice the density of the vegetation.

Upon arrival, you can already envision all the activities you'll be able to do with family or friends. Of course, the picnic is already prepared in your cooler, and all that's left is to find a spot sheltered from the sun's rays, under a palm tree or amidst the bushy trees behind the beach.

Don't be surprised if, while picnicking and enjoying your little piece of tranquility, you're joined by some chickens, roosters, and even small mongooses happily vying for a few crumbs from your meal!"

Ilet Chevalier: Stroll, Snorkeling, or Simply Relax?

To whet your appetite, nothing beats a little tour of the islet. You can take a trail that traverses its center or prefer the one that follows its contours found at either end of the beach.

At times, you might need to climb rocks, possibly navigate through bushy vegetation, and avoid giant cacti, but you'll gain access to absolutely fantastic views of the other islets on the Sainte-Anne peninsula and the vastness of the ocean.

Moreover, on the other side of the islet, as you follow along its Atlantic facade, you'll discover small, wild beaches and perfect spots for snorkeling, offering glimpses of marine life, giving you ideas for future activities.

To preserve the islet's ecosystem, access is no longer permitted after 4 PM. Therefore, visitors are kindly requested to leave before 6 PM, taking with them the memories of an exceptional day of leisure and relaxation.
