Relaxation and diving at Cosmy Beach Located in the northeast of the island of Martinique, Cosmy Beach is located in the municipality of La Trinité. A small paradise of white sand, equipped with a restaurant, it is one of the island’s popular attractions. In other words, it’s best to get up early to get there and find a free spot in the small parking lot! Cosmy Beach Martinique: Trinité Beach
The beach is situated north of the town of La Trinité and is easily accessible via the small road that runs along the coast, about a good half-hour drive from Fort-de-France. Parking under the trees is convenient, but the spaces are not abundant.
The sand isn't abundant either: the beach is quite narrow and further divided by the Bleu Océan restaurant. However, stretching about 500 meters, it still offers space for relaxation under the coconut trees, with a lovely view of the islet Saint Aubin.
Cosmy Beach: Surfing and Diving on the Agenda
The beach faces east, directly toward the ocean. Consequently, the waves are quite interesting, making the beach one of the best spots for surfing in Martinique.
You'll also find pleasure underwater by snorkeling. The underwater landscape is fascinating, with a drop-off of around 15 meters located about a hundred meters from the shore.
It's a great activity to enjoy in the afternoon when the shade covers the beach. You'll find the best sun exposure in the morning due to the beach's orientation.
