How to get to Anse Meunier in Martinique?

Prepare for a few kilometers before taking a dip.

Its calm and crystal-clear waters, around 28°C, are well worth the effort. To reach there, head towards Anse Moustique and then traverse 2 kilometers of a drivable track.

The road is quite rocky; it's best to drive slowly. You risk roughening up the vehicle or making the ride uncomfortable for the passengers.

Hiking enthusiasts can discover the beach along the Trace des Caps route between Grande Anse des Salines and Anse Caritan. Upon arrival, the reward of a swim in calm and shallow water will greet your efforts.

Anse Meunier Beach: A breathtaking view of the best spots on the Isle of Flowers

This paradisiacal beach boasts a magnificent panorama. You can admire the Diamond Rock and the Morne Larcher, the land of a now-extinct volcano.

Imagine a giant stone figure bathing in the clear waters of the Caribbean Sea. It's the image you see when observing Morne Larcher (its silhouette, lying down, materializes as the peninsula of Trois Îlets, visible a bit further away).

A wild beach reserved for experienced enthusiasts

The luxuriant nature contributes to the charm of this plage sauvage which extends over more than one kilometer. Shaded all along thanks to numerous shrubs, you can rest there sheltered from the sun.

Remember to stay away from mancenillia trees whose sap, foliage and toxic fruits can cause severe burns. Those located near the coast are marked with a red trace. Finally, a space occupied by naturists adds an exotic side to the place.

Anse Meunier is a haven of peace and tranquility and will seduce lovers of wilderness not attracted by its neighbor Anse des Salines, clogged by the influx of tourists in high season.
