Saut-Babin and Eloy Waterfalls: Natural Wonders
The Saut-Babin waterfalls harbor a genuine natural treasure. Clear rock-carved natural pools, a calm and shallow river where you can cool off, all beneath the majestic falls of the Saut-Babin waterfalls.
The water is clear and warm. Immerse yourself in this incredibly lush landscape and unique, tranquil atmosphere. Moreover, this tourist site is among the least visited on the island, granting you the pleasure of fully enjoying it!
Before reaching the Eloy and Saut Babin waterfalls, you'll traverse a magnificent tropical forest! Follow the naturally traced path through the woods, passing giant bamboos, tree ferns, and other rare plants. This part of the Martinique hike is not overly challenging but requires sturdy non-slip footwear due to the particularly slippery terrain!
How to Get to Saut-Babin Waterfalls Through the Forest
The Saut-Babin waterfalls are quickly accessible by car from either the Caribbean coast or the Atlantic coast in less than 20 minutes. Once at the Gorges de la Falaise parking lot, continue for about a hundred meters towards Grande Savane to reach the Vieux Cacao area.
Saut-Babin, the Secret of Rivière Capot
