Mountain Garden Martinique: A Creole Garden in All Its Splendor

The Mountain Garden is a remarkable site.

• First of all, its geographical location: Located on the left flank of Montagne du Vauclin, the Mountain Garden already benefits from a beautiful panoramic view of Baie du François on one side and Baie de Fort-de-France on the other.

• Secondly, its floral biodiversity: This remarkable site covers one hectare, surrounding an individual house. Its owners, passionate about botany and horticulture, have created an authentic Creole garden with food plants and nourishing trees. In line with the Creole garden tradition, various areas are distinguished by their functions.

In the vegetable garden area, vegetable plants and fruit trees coexist.

Another space is dedicated to aromatic and medicinal plants. An added bonus for visitors is that the property owners offer you the possibility to purchase certain flowers and plants, allowing you to create your own garden with various colors and scents (prefer cash payment over credit card).
